Synthetic Biology
Synthetic biology is the field of science focused on engineering and designing biological organisms and components. This technology has enabled the creation of customized complex biological systems and is used to further understanding of biological processes, develop new treatments for diseases, and create new products and materials. As the world continues to struggle with pandemics and a need for more sustainable production of materials and energy, synthetic biology is becoming an increasingly important technology for developing new solutions.
