Proteomics Engineering

Proteomics engineering is an interdisciplinary field that combines the principles of protein engineering and proteomics to develop novel biotechnologies. It applies well-defined techniques for the manipulation of proteins and the discovery of new protein functions to produce new materials and devices. Proteomics engineering has led to the development of more efficient bioprocesses and the manufacture of novel proteins and vaccines for the prevention of diseases. It has enabled a better understanding of the mechanisms of human diseases and has promoted the development of targeted therapies with personalized treatments. Proteomics engineering has immense potential for improving human health, enabling the production of personalized medicines, and developing new technologies for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
