Genome Sequencing

Genome sequencing is the process of determining the precise order of nucleotides within a genome. It involves a combination of physical and computational techniques to determine the sequence of nucleic acids, typically DNA, within a genome. Genome sequencing is important in understanding evolutionary and genetic relatedness among species, discovering genetic diseases, understanding cellular functions and processes, and developing and improving diagnostic treatments for genetic diseases. It is also increasingly used in forensic science and medical diagnostics.
