Extinct Genomes

Extinct Genomes are the genetic material of extinct organisms which have been preserved in ancient fossils, sediment, and other remains. Through the analysis of extinct genome DNA, researchers have been able to study the history and evolution of extinct species that were previously unknown. This has enabled us to gain insights into how organisms adapted to changing environments, as well as how they interacted with other organisms. Furthermore, details of the genealogical relationship between different species can be determined. Extinct genome analysis also helps to better understand diseases which still affect living organisms. Additionally, studying the behavior and lifestyle of extinct species offers insights into conservation strategies and how to protect endangered species.
