Rhesus Macaque
The Rhesus Macaque is a species of Old World monkeys originally found in South, Central and parts of Southeast Asia. It is an exceptionally adaptable species and has been introduced to numerous other countries by human intervention. It is a medium sized monkey, typically weighing between 4.5 to 7.7 kg and is easily identified by its reddish-brown fur and long tail.
