Hominins
Hominins are humans, their extinct ancestors and close relatives. This classification includes early hominins like Homo habilis and Neanderthals, as well as modern humans, Homo sapiens. Hominins have been significant throughout history, beginning from the first species to walk upright and the development of language, to the invention of tools, agriculture and the growth of civilizations. Hominins are invaluable to scientific research, informing us about our evolution, cultural development and environmental changes over the centuries. Hominins have made major impacts on the world, allowing us to understand the complexities of human evolution and pursue research into the biological and behavioural traits of early humans.
