Cebidae
Cebidae is a family of monkeys native to Central and South America. They are characterized by their prehensile tails, which they use to grasp and hang from trees. They typically have slender bodies, short snouts, and large eyes. They feed primarily on fruits, but may include insects and other small animals in their diet. Cebidae are important to the tropical ecosystems they inhabit, as they disperse seeds, help keep insect populations in check, and may help pollinate some plants. Additionally, they are popular in the pet trade and are frequently kept as exotic pets.
