Anthropoids

Anthropoids are a type of primate that are closely related to humans and include monkeys, apes, and humans. They are the most diverse and widely distributed group of primates and share many characteristics, including five digits on their hands and feet, flat nails, and forward-facing eyes. Anthropoids are the only primates with full-time, extended social groups and their intelligence and problem-solving abilities are second-to-none, making them indispensable to scientific research. In addition, they are integral to conservation efforts and sustainable living practices, helping to ensure ecosystems remain healthy and balanced.
