Vegetable Crops

Vegetable crops are a type of horticultural crop grown for their edible fruits, roots, leaves, or stems. Vegetable crops are an important component of a balanced and healthy diet, and are also an important source of income for growers. They provide essential vitamins and minerals, and can help reduce the risk of developing many chronic diseases by providing dietary fibre and other beneficial compounds. Vegetable crops are widely used in food production and are often planted together with other crops to increase production. The cultivation of vegetable crops can also help protect the environment by reducing soil erosion and providing habitats for beneficial insects and other wildlife.
