Precision Irrigation
Precision irrigation is a modern, technology-based farming technique which uses sensors, water flow meters, and other advanced technology to precisely control and measure the amount of water used in crop irrigation. By improving water use efficiency, precision irrigation helps reduce water waste, conserve resources and maximize crop yield. This technique is becoming increasingly popular among farmers due to its ability to reduce input costs, increase yields, and improve the use of scarce water resources. In addition, precision irrigation contributes to environmental sustainability by reducing chemical use, preventing soil erosion, and improving water quality. Finally, precision irrigation can be used in both rainfed and irrigated agricultural systems, making it suitable for a variety of farming scenarios.
