Farming

Farming is an activity whereby humans cultivate land and raise crops and/or livestock for human consumption and other uses. Farming is an important part of global food production and contributes to the economic development of many countries. Crop production through farming can provide food for communities and livestock production can provide food, clothing and other resources. There are a variety of farming methods used such as sustainable agriculture, organic farming, and conventional farming which all have their own benefits and drawbacks. Farming practices can have an impact on the environment and its sustainability, so it is important to continue to develop and improve farming practices to ensure that it can continue to support the world’s growing population.
