Agrology
Agrology is the scientific study of soil management, soil conservation, and the use of soil for agricultural production. Agrology is important for the sustainable use of soils for agricultural production, food security, and for maintaining healthy ecosystems. Agrology can be used to increase productivity, soil fertility, and soil health by developing plans to manage soil erosion, understand the impacts of different management practices, and assess the needs for soil management activities. Agrology is also used to help protect water resources, promote soil carbon sequestration, and to reduce the effects of climate change. Agrology is a vital tool for ensuring food security, sustainable agricultural production, and environmental protection.
