Agricultural Electrification and Automation
Agricultural Electrification and Automation is the application of electricity and automated systems to improve crop production and farm management. It is increasingly being used to reduce labor costs, increase crop yields, and improve overall crop quality. Automation and electrification of production systems can improve efficiency, reduce labor costs, and improve product quality. They can also facilitate precision agriculture, increase sustainability, and facilitate connection to wider networks. Automation and electrification are also being used to facilitate remote monitoring and management of crops and livestock, as well as data-driven decision making. While the cost associated with these technologies remains a barrier, the potential for increased efficiency, profitability and sustainability make it an important aspect of agricultural production worldwide.
