Polymeric Micelles

Polymeric micelles are spherical particles composed of water-soluble polymers stabilized by amphiphilic molecules. These structures are of great interest in drug delivery, nanotechnology and diagnostic applications due to their unique properties, such as the ability to encapsulate hydrophobic drugs, protect them from degradation, and potentially target specific areas in the body. These properties make polymeric micelles a powerful tool for drug delivery and other medical applications. Additionally, polymeric micelles have potential applications in drug delivery for cancer treatments and gene therapy. Furthermore, polymeric micelles can be used for diagnostic purposes, such as imaging in MRI, PET and CT scans, as well as in biosensing.
