Polymer Chemistry:

Polymer chemistry is the study of the chemical structure, synthesis, and properties of polymers, which are substances composed of molecules held together by strong chemical bonds. Polymer chemistry is important to many industries such as pharmaceuticals, electronics, automotive, aerospace, and textiles. Polymers have a wide range of properties and are used in many everyday consumer products such as medical devices, personal care products, food packaging, and building materials. Polymer chemistry allows us to create tailor-made materials with specific characteristics to meet various requirements, including strength, flexibility, chemical resistance, biocompatibility, and electrical conductivity. Polymer chemists also work on improving existing materials and creating new materials for the future.
