Wheat

Wheat is an agricultural crop belonging to the grass family, widely cultivated for its edible grains. Wheat is one of the most important cereal crops in the world, providing essential nutrition to millions of people around the globe. As well as being an essential source of food for humans, wheat is also used for animal feed, brewing and many industrial products, such as flour, starches, oils and syrups. Wheat is an important component of many diets and is known for its high levels of energy and many essential nutrients, such as protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals. Wheat is considered a "whole-grain" food, meaning it retains all of its natural components, including its protective antioxidants, which can help reduce the risk of chronic diseases, such as heart disease and cancer.
