Weeds
Weeds are plants that grow where they are not wanted and can cause economic and environmental damage when left uncontrolled. They compete with crops for resources, water and sunlight, and can spread diseases and pests, resulting in poor crop yields and decreased quality of produce. Effective weed control is thus essential for sustainable crop production, and a variety of techniques can be used, such as mechanical removal, burning, herbicides, and crop rotation. Weed control can also help improve soil fertility, prevent soil erosion, and improve the aesthetic appeal of a landscape.
