Restoration Ecology

Restoration ecology is the scientific study of repairing damaged or destroyed ecosystems in order to restore them to their natural state. It's an important field of study because it focuses on preserving and protecting the environment, restoring habitats, and puts environmental concerns ahead of economic benefits. Restoration ecology uses various methods to restore ecosystems, such as planting native trees and shrubs, removing invasive species, reintroducing lost species, and more. By improving the health of an ecosystem, restoration ecology helps to create a more balanced, healthy environment for all living things. Restoration ecology can also have economic benefits, as it can help reduce the negative effects of pollution, increasing agricultural yields, and increasing recreational opportunities.
