Geosciences and Environmental Physics
Geosciences and Environmental Physics is an interdisciplinary field that focuses on the study of Planet Earth, its atmosphere, and its physical environment. It examines the Earth’s physical environment, including the atmosphere, oceans, atmosphere, and land surfaces, as well as the shapes and features of the land, the composition and properties of rocks and minerals, and the processes that drive climate and environmental change. Geoscience and Environmental Physics has applications in a wide field of research, such as climate and weather, sedimentology, hydrogeology, structural geology, geomagnetism, and remote sensing, as well as in the development and management of sustainable energy sources. By studying Earth and its environment, we can better understand the impacts of environmental changes and form strategies for sustaining our planet.
