Forest Harvesting

Forest harvesting is the practice of cutting trees to be used as a source of fuel, timber, and other products. It is an essential land use that, if done properly and sustainably, can benefit the environment and local communities. Forest harvesting helps to maintain healthy forests, protect the environment, and provide economic benefits to local communities through timber and other resources. Proper forest harvesting helps to protect species, maintain biodiversity, and reduce carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Additionally, properly harvested forests can be used to build and maintain infrastructure, such as roads and bridges, and to provide habitat for wildlife. Forest harvesting is essential for meeting the world’s environmental goals and helping to ensure economic growth and sustainability.
