Triage
Triage is the process of sorting injured people into groups based on their need for urgent medical attention. It is an essential practice in emergency medicine and is used to save lives in times of crisis or disaster. It helps medical personnel prioritize treatment and determine who needs medical attention first. In addition, triage helps healthcare providers make the most efficient use of resources and allocate them to those who need it most urgently. Triage is also used within healthcare settings to prioritize patients for specific treatments and procedures. This helps providers make the best use of resources, both in terms of time and money.
