Pediatric Nursing
Pediatric nursing is a specialized branch of nursing that focuses on providing care to children from birth to adolescence. Pediatric nurses are an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, working alongside pediatricians, surgeons, therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that children receive excellent care. They provide comprehensive nursing care, ranging from helping with daily activities, such as feeding, bathing, and dressing, to more complex care, such as administering medications and performing procedures. By collaborating with the entire healthcare team, pediatric nurses ensure that children receive the best possible care. Pediatric nursing is an important component of patient care, as it helps to ensure that children are safe, healthy and comfortable, and that their individual needs are met.
