Patient Reported Outcomes
Patient Reported Outcomes (PROs) are an important part of clinical care that measure the impact of a medical condition or treatment on a patient’s health-related quality of life. PROs can provide valuable information to clinicians and researchers by capturing a patient’s experience and assessment of their own health status that cannot be obtained from traditional clinical measurements. This can include the physical, mental, and social effects of the condition and treatment. By using PROs, clinicians can gain a better understanding of the patient’s overall well-being and tailor treatment plans based on the patient’s unique perspective. Additionally, PROs can be used by researchers to assess the effectiveness of various treatments and interventions more effectively.
