Intubation

Intubation is a medical procedure that involves the insertion of a tube into the body to provide access to the lungs. It is a largely used technique in emergency and critical care settings, as well as in surgeries, to ensure the patient can breathe properly. In addition to aiding in respiration, intubation can also be used to deliver oxygen, provide access to the inside of the lungs for suctioning purposes, and provide access to the airway for airway management. Intubation can also reduce the risk of aspiration and airway obstruction, as well as improve patient comfort.
