Fungicides
Fungicides are a type of pesticide used to treat fungus-based diseases in plants such as leaf spot, rust, powdery mildew and black mold. They work by either inhibiting or killing the fungal cells responsible for the disease. Fungicides are widely used in both commercial and backyard agriculture as an important tool to reduce crop loss due to fungal diseases. Fungicides can also be used around the home and garden to protect vegetation from fungus-based diseases and improve the overall health of lawns, shrubs and ornamentals.
