Flatworms
Flatworms are a group of simple, soft-bodied invertebrates that are important animals in many ecosystems. They can be found worldwide in both terrestrial and aquatic habitats, and play vital roles in nutrient cycling, food webs, and energy transfer. Flatworms also provide numerous important benefits to humans, including as a source of food, in medical research, and as models for understanding the origin and evolution of multicellular animals.
