Cholangiopancreatography

Cholangiopancreatography is a type of imaging test used to examine the pancreatic and biliary ducts (tubes carrying digestive enzymes and bile). It is used to diagnose conditions such as pancreatitis, bile duct obstructions, cysts, tumors, or gallstones. The test involves inserting a thin tube with an attached camera into the digestive tract, allowing doctors to get an image of the ducts and look for any abnormalities. Cholangiopancreatography is a useful tool in diagnosing and treating digestive system issues, and can help reduce the need for surgery or other more invasive techniques.
