Morphine

Morphine is an opioid pain reliever that works by blocking pain signals to the brain. It can be taken orally, or administered through an injection, a patch or a suppository. Morphine is typically used to treat moderate to severe pain, and can also be used to reduce anxiety in certain situations. It is one of the oldest and most commonly prescribed pain medications and is an effective treatment for pain relief. However, it can be habit-forming and should only be used as prescribed.
