Ethics

Ethics is the branch of philosophy that studies moral principles and values and how they guide behavior. It is concerned with questions of right and wrong, good and bad, and justice. Ethics is important because it provides a framework for making decisions, determining what is moral and just, and helping to ensure that individuals, organizations, and societies behave in an ethical manner. Ethics also helps to set standards of behavior and holds individuals, organizations, and societies accountable to those standards. It is used in many professions such as medicine, law, business, and education, and provides guidance for decision-making in various situations.
