Polymer Chemistry

Polymer Chemistry is the study of the chemical properties of polymers, or molecular chains of many repeating parts. Polymers can be used for a variety of purposes due to their unique properties, such as strength, flexibility, and low weight. They are used to make many everyday items, such as plastics, clothing, medical devices, and even pharmaceutical drugs. Polymer Chemistry is a field of immense importance as it allows us to understand how to manipulate the chemical structure of polymers in order to create stronger and more efficient materials. Through polymer chemistry, we can develop better materials for construction, the aerospace industry, and other fields that require special materials.
