Vestibular Migraine

Vestibular Migraine (VM) is a form of migraine that involves recurrent episodes of dizziness and vertigo, which can last from minutes to days. It is one of the most common causes of dizziness in adults and the most common cause of persistent vertigo. VM can cause a variety of other symptoms, including headache, nausea, imbalance and visual disturbances. Treatment of VM may involve medications, lifestyle changes, dietary modifications and physical therapy. Identifying and treating VM is important since it can affect quality of life, and may increase the risk of falls and other accidents.
