Vertigo
Vertigo is a medical disorder where the patient experiences a sensation of feeling off balance and of spinning or rotating, even when standing still or lying down. Vertigo can also cause dizziness and nausea, as well as feelings of unsteadiness and loss of balance. It is usually caused by an inner ear disorder or neck injury, but can also be caused by other medical conditions and medications. Treatment for vertigo includes lifestyle modifications, medications, and physical therapy exercises. Early diagnosis and treatment of vertigo can improve the prognosis and reduce the severity of the symptoms.
