Salivagraphy
Salivagraphy is a simple imaging technique used to study salivary glands and the flow of saliva into the mouth. It involves taking a radiograph of the salivary glands and the entire oral cavity. Salivagraphy is useful for diagnosing the presence of sialolithiasis, sialadenitis, tumors, and other salivary gland disorders. Salivagraphy is also used to evaluate the effects of drug therapy and radiation on salivary gland functioning. This imaging technique is a non-invasive and cost-effective procedure that provides important information about the salivary glands and their functioning, which can help in the diagnosis and management of salivary gland disorders.
