Rhinology is the medical specialty that studies the diseases of the nose, sinuses, and related structures in the head and neck region. It includes diagnosis and treatment for conditions such as chronic sinusitis, rhinitis, nasal allergies, recurrent or chronic infections, nasal polyps and other disorders of the sinus and nasal cavity. Rhinology specialists focus on improving patient quality of life and restoring sinus and nasal function with medical, surgical, and other treatment options.
