Otorhinolaryngologic Surgical Procedures

Otorhinolaryngologic surgery, also known as ENT (ear, nose, and throat) surgery, is a branch of medicine that provides diagnostic and treatment services to those affected by diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. This specialty encompasses a wide range of treatments and procedures, from the removal of a tumor to the repair of a deviated septum to repairing hearing loss. Otorhinolaryngologic surgery can be used to diagnose and treat conditions such as ear infections, sinus infections, nasal polyps, hearing loss, tonsillitis, and many more. It can also provide relief from symptoms associated with these conditions, such as sleep apnea, snoring, and vertigo. It can also provide cosmetic procedures such as rhinoplasty and otoplasty. The importance of otorhinolaryngologic surgery lies in its ability to improve quality of life for those affected by these conditions, allowing them to live more comfortably and productively.
