Narcolepsy

Narcolepsy is a neurological disorder characterized by the inability to control sleep-wake cycles. Symptoms of narcolepsy include extreme daytime sleepiness, cataplexy (sudden muscle weakness), hallucinations, and sleep paralysis. People with narcolepsy may also experience fragmented and interrupted sleep.
