Echoes
Echoes are sound waves that are reflected back to the listener after they bounce off of a surface. Echoes are a vital part of understanding our physical environment, allowing us to see further or find new objects. Echoes are also useful for tracking animals, finding faults in engineering structures, and underwater navigation. They can even help detect potential weather changes, giving us advance warning of severe weather before it strikes. In addition, echoes can improve the sound quality of a recording or broadcast, helping to make them more lifelike and vivid.
