Osteoarthritis Imaging
Osteoarthritis (OA) imaging is a diagnostic technique used to detect and monitor the progression of osteoarthritis. This imaging technique involves taking pictures of the joints to assess the amount of cartilage present in the joints and any damage to the joint structure. OA imaging helps to detect early signs of OA allowing for early diagnosis and initiation of treatment. Additionally, OA imaging can be used in the long-term to track changes over time and monitor the progression of the disease. OA imaging is a valuable tool for clinicians to better diagnose and manage OA.
