Joint Repair
Joint repair is a significant area of clinical research and is important in the treatment of musculoskeletal diseases. Joint repair involves restoring the form and function of a joint, including tendons, ligaments, and cartilage, after injury or disease. It is a highly specialized medical procedure, typically performed by an orthopedic surgeon. It can improve quality of life in individuals with conditions such as arthritis, osteoarthritis, repetitive motion disorders, and sports-related injuries by reducing pain and restoring mobility. Various surgical and non-surgical techniques are used to restore a joint to its pre-injury or pre-disease condition, including repair, replacement, and resurfacing. Physical therapy, medications, and lifestyle modifications are also used to aid joint repair.
