Cartilage Replacement
Cartilage replacement is a surgical procedure to repair or replace damaged or worn-out cartilage. Cartilage is a connective tissue found in parts of the body, including the joints, that provides shock absorption and helps to absorb physical forces. Cartilage replacement can be used to treat conditions such as osteoarthritis, where the cartilage has become worn down and no longer functions effectively.
