Skin Transplantation
Skin transplantation is a surgical procedure used to restore skin cover on areas of the body affected by injury, disease, or congenital defects. It involves taking healthy skin from one area of the body and transplanting it to the affected area. Skin transplantation can improve the aesthetic appearance of a person and may help the patient have normal sensation and movement. It can also reduce the risk of infection and may improve the patient's quality of life. Skin transplantation is a time-consuming and expensive procedure, but has been recognized as an effective way to treat certain medical conditions.
