Appetite

Stimulants Appetite stimulants are pharmaceuticals used to restore the desire to eat in people with poor appetites. They can be used in the treatment of illnesses, such as cancer, AIDS, and depression, to ensure that a patient receives the necessary nutrition. Appetite stimulants also play an important role in the recovery of patients who are recovering from an illness or surgery, as they stimulate appetite and aid in maintaining proper nutrition. In some cases, they may be prescribed as a supplement to support weight gain. They may also be used as a supportive-care treatment to improve the quality of life, by providing the body with the necessary nutrients to stay healthy.
