Signalosomes
Signalosomes are protein complexes that act as signaling hubs in cells. They contain a variety of proteins and lipids that act together to replicate and regulate cellular processes. Signalosomes are involved in a range of cellular activities, such as DNA repair, transcriptional regulation, cell cycle control, and cell death. They are essential to proper cellular functioning, and when they malfunction, various diseases can result. Signalosomes are increasingly being studied and targeted in the development of therapeutic strategies, particularly for cancer and other diseases caused by defective or dysfunctional signaling pathways.
