Molecular Pathology
Molecular Pathology is the study and diagnosis of disease at the molecular level. It is a rapidly growing field of research as it enables the diagnosis and treatment of diseases at a much lower cost and higher speed than previously possible. Molecular Pathology can be used to detect and diagnose many diseases, identify genetic causes of conditions, measure gene expression, and determine the most appropriate treatments for a particular patient, as well as provide guidance on prognosis. Molecular Pathology can also be used to provide personalized medicine and the development of new treatments through the use of therapeutic drugs, gene therapies, and stem cell treatments. Ultimately, Molecular Pathology provides a way to diagnose, treat, and monitor health outcomes more precisely, thereby improving patient care and quality of life.
