Molecular Genetics
Molecular Genetics is a branch of genetics which examines the structure and function of genes at a molecular level. It studies the roles of genes within living beings and how they interact with the environment to give rise to the characteristics of an organism. Molecular Genetics is significant in understanding the basis of many diseases and in the development of treatments. This field has been applied to a variety of fields, such as agriculture, forensic science, cancer research, and pharmacology. It has also been instrumental in the development of genetic engineering techniques, which are used for the production of new medications, foods, and biofuels.
