Membrane Processes
Membrane processes use a semi-permeable membrane to separate substances of different sizes, shapes, and chemical properties. These processes are widely used in industries such as food and beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, wastewater treatment, and bioseparations. Membrane processes are highly efficient, cost-effective, and require minimal energy. They are particularly useful for the removal of contaminants from water, as well as for the production of clean water. Furthermore, membrane processes can also be used for gas separation, as well as for the recovery of valuable materials from solutions. These processes offer great potential for the development of advanced, sustainable technologies for the future.
