Lipids

Lipids are biomolecules found in all living organisms, including humans. They are key components of cell membranes and are involved in many metabolic processes, such as energy storage, insulation, and protection of organs. Lipids are heavily involved in the production of hormones and in the absorption and transport of vitamins and other nutrients. These molecules play an important role in providing structure to certain proteins and are crucial for the healthy functioning of the body. They are also found in food sources, providing us with energy and the essential fatty acids our bodies need.
