Chemotaxis Assay
Chemotaxis assays are experiments used to measure the movement of cells in response to a chemical stimulus. This assay is important in the field of cell biology, as it helps to understand the migration of cells, including immune cells, and the physiological processes that influence it. Additionally, studying chemotaxis is important for understanding many cellular processes, such as chemokine signalling, the movement of cells in the body during inflammation, and the chemo-attraction of stem cells. Additionally, chemotaxis assays are used in the development of cancer treatments and in the diagnosis of disease.
