Centrifuges

A centrifuge is a type of machine used to separate and purify components of a mixture. It works by spinning the mixture at high speeds and making use of the centrifugal force created, which separates components of different densities. This makes centrifuges extremely useful in a wide range of biological, medical and industrial applications, such as separating blood plasma, cell cultures or chemicals in a lab, but also for processing coal, uranium and other heavy minerals. Centrifuges provide an efficient, safe and cost-effective method of separating components of mixtures, making them essential for many industries.
