Biosynthetic Techniques
Biosynthetic techniques are methods of producing a range of products, from small molecules to large proteins, from a DNA template. They enable scientists to quickly and accurately create customized molecules such as drugs and vaccines, and are used for a variety of purposes such as medicine, food production and environmental monitoring. Biosynthetic techniques are invaluable for research, providing an efficient means to generate novel molecules and proteins, and to engineer existing proteins for drug or vaccine development. The ability to quickly and cost-effectively synthesize proteins and other molecules is critical for advancing our understanding of biological processes and developing new technologies.
